View from the window

I have been living in this house for about 17 years now.And it was just yesterday that I realized ,I have the best view from my back room window. It's simply magnificient!!I don't live in Paris so yeah it's not grand, yet it's simplicity is heart warming.There are coconut trees,squirrels running around,sparrows,parrots.There are 4 cats purring around, occasionally lying on a smug dirty rug.They have a dog as a guardian.He roams around with them all the time.Peculiar behaviour I say.I think I'll christen him Simba.
It rained here yesterday and it seems that it has left everything green.All I did yesterday was to read a nice book and have steaming cups of coffee by the window.Seemed like heaven!Sheesh!I missed this view for so long!Hope to enjoy more of it now!!
